Overview

DevSelect is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the development and implementation of our cloud architecture. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the strategic needs of our organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Strategy and Architecture: Develop and implement a well-informed cloud strategy, including the adaptation process, to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
  2. Cloud Application Evaluation: Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  3. Cloud System Development: Develop and organize cloud systems, including front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.
  4. Cloud Security: Work closely with our IT security team to monitor and ensure the company's cloud privacy.
  5. Cloud Governance and Security Operations: Develop and implement cloud governance and security operations, including in-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts like Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), DNS, CDN, Load Balancing, and Auto Scaling.
  6. Technical Support: Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Cloud Architecture Solutions: Identify and implement the top cloud architecture solutions to meet the strategic needs of our organization.
  8. Migration and Implementation Roadmaps: Work with our team to develop and implement migration and implementation roadmaps after analyzing existing service catalogs.
  9. Infrastructure Movement Techniques: Offer guidance on infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers and migrations into the cloud.
Requirements
  1. Education: B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent degree and/or experience.
  2. Experience: 10+ years of industry experience.
  3. Cloud Experience: At least 2 years of experience with Google Cloud and 3+ years of experience with either AWS or Azure.
  4. Build Delivery Engineering: In-depth knowledge of build delivery engineering and hands-on experience with automation.
  5. Technical Skills: Working experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Data Store, Cloud Storage, Cloud Bigtable, BigQuery.
  6. Security and IAM: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with projects involving cloud computing concepts like Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), DNS, CDN, Load Balancing, and Auto Scaling, as well as basics of Security and IAM (Identity and Access Management) on GCP.
  7. Certifications: Google and AWS Certifications are nice to have.
