Job Title: Business Intelligence SQL Developer
Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence department at Terros Health provides key insights into Clinical, Operational, and Financial activities through the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, data models, visualizations, and reports.
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence SQL Developer to work within the Business Intelligence department to provide sustainable solutions to various business needs for Terros Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop or modify T-SQL queries, stored procedures, tables, functions, and triggers to support application development and data analysis
- Write ad-hoc SQL queries and scripts to support various job functions and requests for reports
- Maintain data within an Enterprise Data Warehouse to support business processes
- Create and maintain automated EDI processes using SSIS, MIRTH/HL7, SFTP, and other technologies
- Participate in peer review and testing
- Work with stakeholders to plan, scope, review, and deliver solutions to meet the objectives of a project
- Consistently create optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability, and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
- Ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
- Perform development activities based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Meet deadlines appropriate to the assigned projects
- Work with other team members and/or independently to deliver projects on time
- Learn new applications and technologies as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in T-SQL programming and SQL Server development
- 2+ years of working with EHR systems like NextGen, McKesson, EPIC, Cerner, etc. desired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured data sources including csv, excel, xml, HL7, databases, and data streams
- Ability to work strategically, prioritize appropriately, and meet critical deadlines
- Self-motivated fast learner and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role
- Must pass a TB Test
