Job Title: Junior Government Healthcare Actuary

At Marsh & McLennan Companies, we are seeking a talented Junior Government Healthcare Actuary to join our team. As a key member of our Government Healthcare Solutions Center (GHSC), you will play a critical role in supporting the design and implementation of rate structures and methodologies for government healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior actuarial staff to develop and implement rate setting assumptions and actuarial models.
  • Support the development of rate setting methodologies and ensure consistency with federal regulations and actuarial standards.
  • Work with project teams to finalize rates and educate clients on the impact of their policies on data and rates.
  • Participate in the drafting of project communications, including rate certification letters and presentations.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA, MAAA) strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years minimum health actuarial experience, with Medicaid actuarial experience strongly preferred.
