Welcome to Cleveland Clinic's Akron General Hospital, where we're dedicated to providing world-class patient care and advancing the field of surgery. We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team, where you'll work collaboratively with a team of dedicated caregivers to provide the best possible care for our surgical patients.

As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, and to develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating with patients and families to ensure their needs are met.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You'll also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
* Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
* One year of current acute care RN experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
* One year of OR experience as a RN
