Job Title: Experienced RN

Cleveland Clinic's Akron General Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including stroke, neuro trauma, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with critical conditions
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the NSICU
  • Develop and update patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Delegate tasks and assignments to ensure efficient patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Willing to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and TNCC certification within one year of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours
