The Print Production Specialist plays a crucial role in operating and assisting with various publishing machinery to produce large-scale maps, charts, and mounted posters.

Essential Qualifications

Role Responsibilities
As a Print Production Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation of publishing equipment, including a multi-unit 40" five-color computer-controlled offset press. You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to acquire fundamental digital binding skills while managing several large format production plotters to generate large format maps, charts, and mounted posters that support the Agency's objectives. Additionally, you will receive cross-training in various production equipment and dissemination methods while gaining experience in different print production sectors such as print, bindery, and digital print operations. Specialists may work across all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and may be required to perform surge assignments and overtime based on workload and project demands.
