Company Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the art production department, ensuring workflow output and quality metrics are consistently met.

- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a positive, organized, and efficient work environment.

- Review orders and place them into production to meet deadlines and client expectations.

- Operate and maintain digital print wide-format equipment.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient digital file structure for the team.

- Collaborate with staff to monitor the progress and status of ongoing projects.

- Expedite operations by adjusting schedules to meet unforeseen conditions and deadlines.

- Perform minor maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot any issues.

- Communicate effectively with customers in a professional and courteous manner to ensure satisfaction.

- Collaborate closely with the sales team, addressing any production concerns or problems.

- Maintain an orderly, professional, and safe work area.


**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with Flexi Sign is a plus.

- Strong understanding of production processes, including materials, equipment, and workflow optimization.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and clients.

- Strong business math skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

- Ability to “multi-task” and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

- Strong computer skills and an aptitude for quickly learning new software.

- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more than 50 pounds.

- Experience with software-driven print-production and sign-production equipment (e.g., cutters, plotters, large format printers, and lamination tables) is a plus, but not required.

- Outstanding time management and follow-up skills through email, phone, or other methods of communication.

- Eager to grow, take on new responsibilities, and contribute to the team’s success.
