Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time.

Estimated Salary: $14.50 - $19.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. Benefits include paid training, 401K program eligibility after 12 months, and remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare charts according to clinic protocol.
  • Document patient history, physical exam, procedures, and patient plan during patient visits.
  • Enter laboratory and radiographic studies, medication orders, and other relevant information.
  • Review completed charts with healthcare providers between patients or after the shift.

Requirements:

  • A typing speed of at least 60+ WPM.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-6 pm PST).
  • A HIPAA-compliant workspace to maintain patient privacy.
  • Fluency in English with excellent writing and speaking skills.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years equivalent experience in a related field required.
  • Pre-health career track strongly preferred.
  • GPA > 3.5 preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with medical terminology and human anatomy.
