Mortgage Compliance Director

At City National Bank, we're committed to excellence in all aspects of our business, including compliance. As a Mortgage Compliance Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our mortgage banking division operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide compliance guidance and support to the mortgage banking team, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they're up-to-date and effective.
- Monitor regulatory changes and updates, ensuring our mortgage banking division is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring our mortgage products and services meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective compliance training programs, ensuring all mortgage banking team members understand their compliance responsibilities.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain open communication with regulatory agencies, ensuring we're in compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as business, finance, or law.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit, with a focus on mortgage banking or financial services.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
