Position Summary: As a Part-Time Universal Banker, you will deliver a comprehensive array of banking services to individual clients, encompassing both transactional and non-transactional functions. You will provide personalized banking solutions while maintaining traditional services and contribute to achieving branch objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, money orders, and loan payments, utilizing the bank's online systems.
- Facilitate the opening of new deposit and checking accounts, providing customers with detailed explanations of available products. Manage deceased accounts and assist with the upkeep of files and necessary documentation.
- Engage with customers to discuss their financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions. Promote the bank's products and services while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication.
- Prepare daily transaction reports at the end of each business day and assist with the branch's closing procedures, including documentation and record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate records for customers and accounts, including safe deposit box documentation and other back-office tasks.
- Refer clients to specialized departments within the bank as necessary.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail or customer service is required.
- Familiarity with financial products is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
- Availability to work weekends as scheduled.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of mandatory training is required for continued employment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
