Senior Environmental Remediation Professional

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Remediation Professional to join our team.
About the Role- Lead complex projects and teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement remedial actions, including technology screening and selection, pilot testing, and remedial system installation, to mitigate environmental risks.
- Perform advanced engineering design tasks, including reports, presentations, and regulatory applications, to support project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, including remedial action and remedial design work plans, pilot test work plans, and summary reports, to communicate project progress and results.
- Coordinate and lead field investigations and related field activities, including site inspections, environmental monitoring, and sampling, to gather data and inform project decisions.
- Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for small projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Lead the design and implementation of remedial actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Water Resources, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Years of environmental engineering experience, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (Civil preferred).
- Current OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Expert level understanding of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
- Experience with client communications, including proposal response and submittal, presentations, and status meetings.
- Experience with regulatory agencies, including the EPA, RWQCB, DTSC, AQMD, and others.
- Ability to lead teams through all phases of project execution and document production.
- Ability to manage technical aspects of multiple projects/task orders simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
