We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at KVC Health Systems. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and supervision to children and youth in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support and supervision to children and youth, helping them to achieve their treatment goals through daily activities and teaching coping techniques and positive behavior skills.
- Work closely with nurses and therapists to reinforce treatment plans, document client activity, and maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Must be 20 years old to apply.
- Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited high school.
- Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training working with adults or children in a behavioral health care or similar environment.
