Veterinary Ophthalmology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Veterinary Vision, a leading provider of ophthalmic care for animals. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and treatments
- Monitor and attend to patients' needs before, during, and after procedures
- Conduct tests to assess eye health and function
- Assist during eye surgeries and ensure proper post-operative care
- Inform pet owners about eye conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Ensure ophthalmic equipment is clean and functional
- Provide assistance in urgent situations such as eye injuries or acute conditions
- A current RVT license in California with 2+ years of clinical experience
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
- Proficient in anesthesia
