Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions, assessing their progress and response to treatments and medications.
- Perform complex medical procedures, such as inserting intravenous lines, administering medications, and managing ventilators.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate care and provide effective communication with patients' families.
- Advocate for patients' needs and preferences within the healthcare team, ensuring they receive appropriate care and treatment.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions, medications, and treatment plans, providing emotional support and counseling during stressful times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse Licensure.
- 1 year of emergency or intensive care unit experience preferred.
- Current qualifications in ACLS and BLS preferred.
Able to adjust to the high-demand setting of healthcare and work cohesively with all departments in the hospital.
SalaryMinimum $33.67/Maximum $39.67
