Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions, assessing their progress and response to treatments and medications.
  • Perform complex medical procedures, such as inserting intravenous lines, administering medications, and managing ventilators.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate care and provide effective communication with patients' families.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and preferences within the healthcare team, ensuring they receive appropriate care and treatment.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions, medications, and treatment plans, providing emotional support and counseling during stressful times.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • 1 year of emergency or intensive care unit experience preferred.
  • Current qualifications in ACLS and BLS preferred.
Working Conditions

Able to adjust to the high-demand setting of healthcare and work cohesively with all departments in the hospital.

Salary

Minimum $33.67/Maximum $39.67
