Outpatient Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Dialysis team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As an Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatment options, self-care techniques, and disease management.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license in the state of employment.
Current CPR BLS Certification and ability to meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.
Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a preference for experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis.

This position requires frequent, prolonged periods of standing and the employee must be able to bend over. The employee may occasionally be required to move, with assistance, machines and equipment of up to 200 lbs., and may lift chemical and water solutions of up to 30 lbs. as high as 5 feet. The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. Day to day work includes desk work, computer work, interaction with patients, facility/hospital staff and physicians. May be asked to provide essential functions of this position in other locations with the same physical demands and working conditions as described above.
