The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A CA medical license in good standing or the ability to obtain one is also required.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for performing assessments, medication management, and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in the primary care setting. You will also perform crisis interventions as needed and provide brief, evidence-based pharmacologic services. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with a team of primary care physicians, PAs, NPs, and behavioral health providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • CA medical license in good standing or ability to obtain
  • Sensitivity to multi-cultural concerns and the psychotherapeutic process
  • Experience with primary care psychiatry or consultation-liaison psychiatry desired
