Board Certified Lung Transplant Surgeon

We are recruiting for a board certified/board eligible general thoracic surgeon to join our team at VCU Health - Richmond, VA. This is an outstanding opportunity for an academically focused surgeon to contribute to our division's mission and goals.
The selected individual will be responsible for caring for thoracic patients at VCU Medical Center, with the support of division and department leadership. Additionally, they will participate in teaching and mentoring of residents, fellows, and medical students.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Clinical care of thoracic patients at VCU Medical Center
- Teaching and mentoring of residents, fellows, and medical students
- Research participation and collaborations
**Requirements:**
- Board certification or eligibility in thoracic surgery
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in lung transplantation post fellowship
- Strong background in minimally invasive techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
**Compensation:** $500,000 - $700,000 per year, dependent on experience
