We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our team at Tekion, a leading provider of cloud-native platforms for the automotive retail industry. As a key member of our product organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and launch of innovative products that transform the way cars are designed, distributed, and purchased.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences, and embody their voice in all product decisions.
  2. Product Research and Development: Conduct qualitative research to define and track quantitative product metrics, and communicate findings to the team.
  3. Product Roadmap: Drive new product initiatives and own products/features from ideation through implementation, launch, and iterative enhancements.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to craft amazing product experiences that delight our customers.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Establish rapport with internal stakeholders and communicate product updates, milestones, and strategy to ensure alignment and buy-in.

Requirements
  1. Experience: 7+ years of product management experience within B2B SaaS, with a strong background in the automotive industry.
  2. Execution: Demonstrated ability to execute on a product roadmap while working with offshore resources and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Effective communication of product updates, milestones, and strategy to internal stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams.
  4. Curiosity: Exceptional curiosity about new products and how users will respond to them, with a proven track record of gathering feedback and incorporating it into product improvements.
  5. Empathy: Deep understanding of how customers think, with the ability to accurately predict how changes will make them feel.
  6. Excellent Communication: Comfortable and confident sharing thoughts in verbal or written form, with a proven plan to ensure everyone is aligned on the product vision and execution timeline.
  7. Appreciation for Quality: Enthusiasm about building premium products with a sustainable future, with a track record of working on products that delight customers.
Preferred Skills
  1. Automotive Industry Experience: Experience working in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of dealership management systems.
  2. Technical Background: Strong technical background, with experience building complex enterprise-level B2B software.
