Job Summary:

The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a highly qualified Human Resources Specialist V to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to management and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and guidance on human resources-related issues, including employee relations, benefits, compensation, and classification.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to resolve workplace conflicts and issues.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to employees on HR-related topics.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee complaints and grievances.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to human resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
