Position Overview:

The GPS Admissions department is in search of a part-time admissions support specialist. This role is essential for addressing the requirements of the admissions team through various administrative duties, customer engagement, and student assistance. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to inquiries via email and phone.
  • Processing documentation related to student applications.
  • Updating and managing student records efficiently.

New hires will receive training to develop a comprehensive understanding of our Student Information System (SiS), Application Systems, and the range of student services we offer. They will collaborate with faculty, students, and staff while handling sensitive information.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, both on the phone and through email, who can address inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED/equivalent is required, with a background in customer support.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in higher education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.

This is a part-time, non-benefited position requiring 18 hours per week. The GPS office operates during specified hours throughout the week.
