Key Responsibilities:- Estimate blueprints and complete measurements for clients
- Maintain a current price list and inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, and any additional information needed
- Assist customers in person, by email, or on the telephone
- Process orders and accept payment from customers
- Input orders/quotes into the computer system and confirm availability of product
- Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate activities with other departments as necessary
- Assist customers in selecting products
- Maintain customer service records
- Establish proactive communication with customers to ensure understanding of product ordered
- Handle quality and service issues to develop/maintain customer loyalty
- High School Diploma with 2 years customer service experience
- Background in interior design considered an asset
- 1-2 years estimating blueprints and completing measurements
- Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver's license and a clear criminal record check
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
