Position Summary

This full-time, on-site position for a Technology Operations Manager is based in Vista, CA. The Technology Operations Manager will be tasked with supervising the organization's technological functions. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and efficiency of our technology systems and infrastructure through the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of effective systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a detailed strategy for system development, which includes routine maintenance and periodic updates to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Oversee the successful deployment of an advanced ERP System, specifically Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a mandatory requirement.
  • Establish and implement a systematic approach to Microsoft Office 365 integration, covering Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, aimed at boosting productivity and collaboration across the organization.
  • Design and enforce a comprehensive security framework that acts as a stronghold for our IT infrastructure and sensitive information, in line with industry best practices in information security.
  • Lead the enhancement of internal and external communication platforms, including intranet, VPN, cloud services, and firewalls, to improve our organization’s IT capabilities and streamline communication processes.
  • Provide consistent support and technical assistance to departmental users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of information technology within the organization.
  • Play a crucial role in the procurement and management of software and hardware resources essential for maintaining and advancing the operational needs of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in managing technology.
  • Experience in developing and executing IT policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of network security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proficiency in databases, web applications, and server management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in IT management roles.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Microsoft Office 365 applications, showcasing technical expertise.
