We are currently seeking a Facility Security Operations Specialist to provide support for our Army/Fort Huachuca client. At Vision IT, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. Key Responsibilities:

Act as a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) physical security expert to assist the Fort Huachuca client in the essential physical security measures required to uphold and enhance their SCI physical security program. Support the management of the physical security components throughout the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) lifecycle.

Conduct regular patrols to identify irregularities and inspect security devices and fire safety equipment.

Maintain order and enforce site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the premises.

Manage access to the client facility through the admittance process.

Perform foot or vehicle patrols of the assigned area, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unsecured doors, security breaches, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, and unauthorized individuals.

Respond to emergencies including fire, medical situations, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator malfunctions, hazardous materials incidents, severe weather, and other urgent matters.

Prepare necessary logs and reports as required.

Essential Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing and sustaining an SCI physical security program for federal entities.

Demonstrated expertise in overseeing all physical security elements of the SCIF lifecycle.

Experience in preparing for annual SCIF self-inspections, ensuring documentation and compliance with applicable SCIF standards, and conducting semi-annual testing of SCIF intrusion detection systems (IDS).

Ability to develop SCIF-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for management and staffing approval, ensuring annual reviews and updates.

This role requires candidates to possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
