Nurse Care Manager

Pennybyrn is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to lead our healthcare team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans within our skilled nursing or short-term stay households.

Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assessing and planning patient care plans
- Implementing and evaluating patient care plans
- Leading the healthcare team in providing exceptional care to residents
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed as a Nurse in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Previous experience with geriatric residents preferred
- Good physical and mental health
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to assist with lifting, turning, and positioning residents, in excess of 100 lbs.
- Ability to push and manipulate equipment, in excess of 50 lbs.
Pay rate scale is based on experience. LPNs are paid $24 - $28 per hour, while RNs are paid $29 - $32 per hour. Shift differentials apply for weekday and weekend shifts.
