Job Summary:

Stine Seed Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Independent Sales Representative to join our team in Southern Illinois. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our dealers and customers, while driving sales growth and revenue for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers
  • Provide agronomic and technical support to customers and dealers
  • Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships
  • Communicate and implement sales programs and policies within the assigned territory
  • Work closely with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support and guidance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet established goals
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in dealer development and retention
