Independent Sales Consultant Position Overview:

Stine Seed Company, a dynamic and expanding national seed firm, is seeking an Independent Sales Consultant for the Southern Illinois region.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary representative of the Stine brand within the designated territory.

Acquire and maintain comprehensive agronomic and technical expertise regarding Stine seed offerings and services relevant to the assigned area.

Oversee current dealer accounts and attract new dealerships to boost sales.

Effectively communicate and execute Stine's sales initiatives and policies within the territory to achieve district sales objectives.

Collaborate with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to deliver exceptional sales support in the assigned territory.

Foster and strengthen relationships with customers and prospective clients, either directly or through a designated seller.



Qualifications and Skills:


Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of agricultural experience, including prior roles in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Demonstrated knowledge of effective sales strategies, along with strong negotiation skills and the capability to navigate challenges.

Proven success in dealer development and retention is required.

Candidates should exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently to achieve set objectives.

Preference will be given to individuals with a proven track record of building and maintaining robust relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values, leading to successful outcomes.
