Wells Fargo is in search of a Lead Wealth Management Portfolio Strategist
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee intricate projects aimed at delivering a comprehensive investment strategy for high and ultra-high net worth clientele.
- Ensure consistent delivery across various channels within the organization.
- Drive new business growth and revenue, manage substantial client portfolios, and collaborate with the team to formulate and propose client-focused investment strategies.
- Identify both financial and non-financial asset opportunities to incorporate into the overall investment strategy for clients, while developing and executing tailored investment plans.
- Make informed decisions in complex, multifaceted scenarios that require a robust understanding of the Private Wealth Portfolio Management domain, including policies, procedures, and compliance mandates that influence and guide a broader team to achieve business goals and spearhead new initiatives.
- Engage and consult with peers, colleagues, and senior managers within Private Wealth Portfolio Management to address client concerns and meet business objectives.
- This position involves client interaction and responsibilities that may include assessing needs and referring clients interested in secured products to appropriate team members. Responsibilities include assisting clients without processing applications or negotiating terms of secured transactions.
- 7+ years of experience in Private Wealth Portfolio Management or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 10+ years of experience in investment management.
- MBA, CFA (completed or in progress), or similar credentials (CFP, CAIA) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and presentation capabilities.
- Individuals in this role must meet the qualification standards set by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and adhere to related Wells Fargo policies. These standards include financial responsibility, character assessment, general financial fitness, and background checks. A current credit report will be utilized to evaluate financial responsibility, though a credit score will not be part of the assessment. Successful candidates must also comply with ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screenings if necessary.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
The compensation range provided reflects the base pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including achievements, skills, experience, and work location. The listed range is one component of the overall compensation package available to candidates.
