Position Summary:

The Nutrition Specialist I plays a crucial role in evaluating the dietary needs of patients. This entry-level position involves assessing nutritional health using established assessment tools and providing guidance to patients, families, and caregivers on tailored nutrition plans aimed at enhancing health outcomes. The Nutrition Specialist I will work with a diverse patient demographic, including those requiring more specialized care, under the mentorship of a Clinical Dietitian II or Clinical Dietitian Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients.
  • Develop and recommend individualized nutrition plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition-related topics.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field, with completion of an accredited dietitian program (ACEND - Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition Dietetics).
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR) credential.
  • No prior experience necessary.
