The Retail Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient unloading, processing, and stocking of merchandise to enhance product availability for our valued customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers
- Accurately perform cashier duties while adhering to company policies during all transactions.
- Uphold 5S standards (Sort, Straighten, Systematic cleanup, Standardize, and Sustain) in the receiving area.
- Unload, process, and stock products in designated locations, following merchandising guidelines.
- Conduct store recovery tasks and maintain cleanliness (both inside and outside) as needed during stocking activities.
- Operate all equipment safely in accordance with established procedures.
- Foster a safe working and shopping environment while minimizing losses and damages.
- Implement company directives, policies, and procedures in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Contributes to a customer-centric environment by demonstrating outstanding service.
- Communicates effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintains a positive demeanor; works with urgency; demonstrates timely and thorough execution.
- Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple tasks as business priorities shift.
