We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, including carpentry, sheet rock installation, painting, and door and lock maintenance.
- Install and repair suspended ceilings, move and rig lights, and perform snow removal and shoveling duties.
- Repair and maintain carpet and vinyl flooring, and perform general computer skills and ground and building maintenance tasks.
- Operate a snow blower and perform other duties as required.
- Able to lift and move at least 50 pounds.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of work experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Carpentry skills and experience with sheet rock installation, painting, and door and lock maintenance.
- Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
- Ability to obtain other professional licenses as needed.
- Wastewater, DOT shipper, and Hazmat training provided.
- Ability to obtain secret clearance (endorsement provided).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction.
- Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches.
- Knowledge of DI and RO water systems.
