Job Title: Process Development Lab Technician

Genezen is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Development Lab Technician to support the development and optimization of viral vector processes at our Lexington site in MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and optimization of viral vector processes, including cell culture, fermentation, purification, and formulation.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine lab maintenance and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of experimental results, including data entry and basic statistical analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
  • Train new staff members and fellow hourly employees in designated processes.
  • Comply with all established policies and SOPs.
  • Participate actively in SOP revisions in coordination with supervisor and Quality Assurance.

Requirements:

  • Associate or B.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar field.
  • 1+ years of relevant industry experience in R&D, product development, or operations.
  • Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
