About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in the Northeast and Southeast regions. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling our Force Measurement product portfolio, which includes tension systems for the pulp and paper industry, rolling mill force sensors, and industrial weighing systems for melt shops, mining, and miscellaneous industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and increase sales of Force Measurement products in assigned territories
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for FM products
  • Travel 50-70% in assigned territory for customer visits and presentations
  • Collaborate with other departments to prepare bids, gather technical specifications, and ensure financial accuracy
  • Work with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
  • Understand customer needs and develop effective solutions
  • Monitor customer and market trends with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent job experience
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, sales support, maintenance, or operations
  • Knowledge or understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment, with a plus for automation or process control understanding in the Paper or Metals market
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts
  • Team-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Candidates must have a valid work authorization to work in the US
