Job Description

Leo Landscape LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor the daily progress of projects and track the percentage of work complete against the construction schedule.
  • Communication: Provide detailed updates to project managers and stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the jobsite, including progress tracking, identifying and filling out proper documentation for potential change orders.
  • Supply Management: Ensure team members have the necessary supplies and resources to complete their assigned tasks on time and within budget limits.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Meeting Coordination: Attend jobsite meetings on behalf of the Project Manager and report meeting minutes to the office immediately after the meeting.
  • Inventory Management: Plan, build, and organize jobsite material and storage, receive, inventory, track, and secure delivered materials, and input all necessary transactions into the inventory system.
  • Quality Control: Inspect, monitor, and report misuse of material, tools, and rental equipment, and maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Reporting: Maintain Jobsite Inspection Tracking Report, organize reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access, and perform billing and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Logistics: Plan meetings and organize project logistics, and order necessary supplies.
Essential Skills
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to work closely with team members and managers, and effectively manage problems as they occur.
  • Leadership: As the primary point of contact for team members, you must be able to provide guidance, feedback, and encouragement for achieving goals.
  • Organization and Time Management: Managing the daily activities and needs of an entire team requires an excellent ability to multitask and effectively manage your time.
  • Computers and Data Entry: Enter budgets and other important documents for the company, which are usually created on computers and sometimes maintained in databases.
  • Problem-Solving: Although project managers may step in to handle significant problems, you should be prepared to work through and resolve minor issues without assistance.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive outlook makes it easier to handle the stress of unexpected challenges and also helps the entire team stay positive and motivated.
Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous material management and inventory experience is required.
  • Technical Skills: Exceptional competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy materials, bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Education: Associates degree, technical degree in a related study, or 1-year construction experience in a related field is a requirement.
  • Certifications: Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
