Vascular Technologist

This position requires expertise in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures to evaluate vascular occlusive disease. The technologist must be able to objectively identify the presence or absence of disease using various ultrasound and Doppler equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform non-invasive diagnostic procedures to evaluate vascular occlusive disease
- Use ultrasound and Doppler equipment to identify the presence or absence of disease
- Modify procedures with approval from the Supervisor or Medical Director to meet special circumstances
- Comply with standards set by the Inter-societal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for departmental policies and procedures
- Provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis
- National Registered Vascular Technologist or National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography
- Oregon Sonographer
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Graduate of a four-year vascular technology program
- 2 years of experience working in a Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory setting
