Vascular Technologist On-Call Specialist

This position requires expertise in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures for vascular occlusive disease evaluation, utilizing ultrasound and Doppler equipment.

The technologist must be able to modify procedures with approval from the Supervisor or Medical Director to meet special circumstances and provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis.

This role involves shared regional coverage for stand-by and call back on evenings and weekends, adhering to the standards set by the Inter-societal accreditation commission (IAC) for departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-invasive diagnostic procedures for vascular occlusive disease evaluation
  • Modify procedures with approval from the Supervisor or Medical Director
  • Provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis
  • Adhere to the standards set by the Inter-societal accreditation commission (IAC)

Requirements:

  • National Registered Vascular Technologist or National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography
  • Oregon Sonographer
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four year vascular technology program
  • 2 years experience working in a Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory setting
