About the Role

This position requires expertise in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures to evaluate vascular occlusive disease. The successful candidate will have the ability to objectively identify the presence or absence of disease using various ultrasound and Doppler equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-invasive diagnostic procedures to evaluate vascular occlusive disease
  • Use ultrasound and Doppler equipment to identify the presence or absence of disease
  • Modify procedures with approval from the Supervisor or Medical Director to meet special circumstances
  • Comply with standards set by the Inter-societal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis
Requirements
  • National Registered Vascular Technologist or National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography
  • Oregon Sonographer
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of a four-year vascular technology program
  • 2 years of experience working in a Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory setting
