Senior Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Cedarbrook Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Participate in pre-admission assessments to ensure a smooth transition for new residents
- Implement and maintain fire safety and disaster preparedness plans, ensuring the safety of our residents and staff
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure residents receive the best possible care
- Assist residents with scheduling medical appointments and provide support with daily living activities
- Administer medications and provide medical treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor resident restorative nursing programs and provide guidance and support as needed
- Supervise and monitor medications for residents who self-administer
- Observe residents and report any changes in condition to physicians and supervisors
- Communicate effectively with family members, visitors, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
- Understand and respect resident advance directives and preferences
- Assist residents with meeting their nutritional and hydration needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment for residents
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency calls
- Participate in risk management and quality assurance programs to ensure the highest level of care
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current license in the state of Michigan
- Current CPR certification
