Job DescriptionGeneral Purpose of Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Oncology department at Sparrow Health System in Lansing, MI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional services to patients with adult gynecological and medical oncology/hematology conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical exams, and document patient charts.
- Provide accurate and timely patient and family instructions.
- Support inpatient and outpatient services, including daily rounds and participation in patient care conferences.
- Participate in research activities, quality of care initiatives, and educational programs.
Requirements:
- Current BCLS certification.
- Current State of Michigan certification as a Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Successful completion of hospital credentialing.
- Experience in gynecology and/or oncology preferred.
- Two years of experience in the outpatient setting preferred.
