Job Title: Production Support Analyst

Fiserv is a global leader in payments and financial technology, and we're seeking a highly skilled Production Support Analyst to join our team.

As a Production Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing 24x7 support and monitoring for applications that authorize and settle credit, debit, check, and prepaid transactions. You will also provide day-to-day support to our clients (merchants, gateways, vendors) when issues are encountered in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide production support in the Cards and Payments domain using AIX operating systems
  • Develop UNIX Shell scripts for monitoring and reporting
  • Monitor applications using AIX operating system with UNIX, C Programming, and SPLUNK
  • Assist merchants, gateways, and vendors when troubleshooting issues and implementing new functionality in production
  • Provide guidance to new merchants going live with the latest software application
  • Implement change records and analyze incident records to provide responses within contractual SLA's
  • Research and troubleshoot incident records assigned via Service Point, based on priority and severity
  • Work as part of a team to provide shift coverage on a rotational basis
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a 24x7 production support experience in a financially impactful environment
  • 3+ years of experience in Windows, Linux, or AIX environment
  • 3+ years of experience writing UNIX Shell scripts
  • 3+ years of experience creating awk and shell scripts
  • 2+ years of experience writing Splunk queries
  • 2+ years of experience in incident, change, and problem management
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
