Our client, established nearly 20 years ago, is a leader in waste management solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology to create a more sustainable future.

The company is currently in a growth phase, with new technology being rolled out this month that will significantly expand their offerings.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Associate will play a crucial role in streamlining and automating the accounts payable process.

The Accounts Payable Associate's key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the accounts payable workflow, ensuring timely approvals from managers to meet month-end closing targets.
Support the automation of the accounts payable process.
Input authorized and matched invoices into the accounting software.
Conduct monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
Compile data for monthly accrued expenses report.
Organize and manage accounts payable records.
Effectively handle vendor inquiries and communications.
Contribute to annual financial statement audits and other audit processes as required.
Provide support to the Accounting Manager as needed.

Requirements:
3+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
Experience with automated accounts payable systems is a plus.
Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Manufacturing industry experience is desired but not required.

Compensation:
$63,000 - $68,000
