Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Mixtape. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Prepare high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes
  • Store excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage
  • Ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas
  • Assist other cooks to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Efficiently resolve problems with guests' orders
  • Ensure food health and safety regulations are followed
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a cook preferred
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Strong task and time management abilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Strong knife skills
  • ServSafe food handling certification is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes
  • Ability to work in a team
