Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Mixtape, a new and exciting restaurant concept in the Heritage Restaurant Group. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking menu items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items.
  • Prepare high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
  • Store excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage.
  • Ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards.
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas.
  • Assist other cooks to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Efficiently resolve problems with guests' orders.
  • Ensure food health and safety regulations are followed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a cook preferred.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong knife skills.
  • ServSafe food handling certification is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques.
  • Ability to follow recipes.
  • Ability to work in a team.
