Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at OPSAM Health. As a key member of our school-based program, you will play a vital role in implementing a prevention-focused program using evidence-based curricula to promote mental health and well-being among adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Deliver the Resourceful Adolescent Program (RAP-A) curriculum in a school-based setting, targeting all students in a particular grade to prevent stigmatization.
  • Curriculum Tailoring: Tailor the 11-session curriculum to meet the unique needs of the student population and ensure its effective integration into the school environment.
  • Teaching Essential Skills: Teach students essential skills to enhance their resilience and ability to manage stress and adversity, utilizing cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal approaches.
  • Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one therapeutic services to students and families facing emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges.
  • Group Therapy: Facilitate group therapy sessions that focus on common issues such as stress, anxiety, peer relationships, and resilience building.
  • Family Therapy: Conduct family therapy sessions to address familial issues that impact student well-being.
  • Coordination with School Personnel: Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administrative staff to identify and support students in need of services.
  • Community Collaboration: Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations to enhance the support network for students.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Valid BBS licensure, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist by the California Board of Psychology.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a school-based or similar setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of CBT modalities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with students, families, school staff, and community organizations.
