Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage crew members and equipment daily to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Plan, assign, and execute tasks in a safe and professional manner, supervising crew performance and ensuring high standards are met.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports using our management system, including timesheets and billing information.
  • Communicate with property owners to obtain permission for tree trimming or removal, and discuss access, power interruptions, and work requirements.
  • Oversee equipment and material usage, ensuring all equipment and supplies are secure on the truck.
  • Assist in personnel management and maintain accurate records of time, equipment, and material used.
  • Maintain exceptional customer relations and ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Accurately report accidents and incidents.
Requirements:
  • Two years' experience in Vegetation Management or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand contract requirements.
  • Knowledge of botanical and common names of trees and plants.
  • Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Able to work independently and adjust to field requirements without close supervision.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
