We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at Overlake Medical Center. As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens, as well as performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform venipuncture and fingerstick procedures
- Prepare and transport specimens to the laboratory
- Assist with point-of-care testing and other laboratory procedures
- Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (PC) through the Washington State Department of Health
- Technical training/certification in phlebotomy
- High School diploma or GED
- At least six months of hospital experience preferred
- Experience with phlebotomy on neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, adult, trauma, and critical patients preferred
