Position Title: Chief of Tribal Engagement

Organization: Opt For Healthy Living

Role Overview:

As the Chief of Tribal Engagement, you will be pivotal in fostering relationships between Opt For Healthy Living and Tribal communities. Reporting directly to senior leadership, your primary responsibility will be to enhance collaboration and communication with Tribal entities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.

Your role will involve:

  • Acting as a liaison between the organization and Tribal communities, focusing on mutual interests and objectives.
  • Overseeing initiatives that promote the well-being of Native American populations, including health programs and educational opportunities.
  • Facilitating partnerships that support environmental stewardship and cultural preservation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience working with Tribal communities, particularly those recognized at the federal or state level.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Cultural Studies, Public Health, or a related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree in a pertinent area is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulations affecting Tribal relations and community health initiatives.
  • Proficiency in office software and experience with data management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across diverse groups.
