Job Overview

Professional Search Group OC is in search of a Client Services Associate to enhance their client support team. The Client Services Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive array of credit union offerings to both prospective and current members within a consultative sales framework, primarily via the Contact Center. This position emphasizes outstanding member support by managing transactions such as fund disbursement and receipt, deposit processing, loan repayments, and withdrawals, while also fostering a substantial volume of product referrals.

Key Responsibilities of the Client Services Associate:

  • Initiate new accounts, including checking, certificates, and shares, utilizing the Xpress Account system, and oversee related documentation through Docusign and PRISM.
  • Execute transactions for savings, checking, money market accounts, certificates, credit cards, and loans.
  • Meet Member Acquisition and Growth Strategy (MAG) objectives.
  • Provide precise quotes on deposit rates, loan payoffs, and manage stop payment requests on ACH and drafts.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Home Banking, Bill Pay, and other electronic services, including verifying corporate check clearances through Moneygram.
  • Conduct proactive outreach for member retention, membership growth, pre-approvals, and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to member inquiries regarding credit union benefits and services, offering guidance and support to enhance member loyalty and retention.
  • Utilize the MAG process to assist members in selecting the products that best suit their needs, contributing to the department's cross-selling objectives.
  • Document all interactions in PRISM, ensuring accurate tracking of member needs and products/services provided.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all credit union products, including GAP, Debt Protection, and Insurance.
  • Comply with all credit union policies, including those detailed in the Employee Handbook and federal regulations.
  • Complete necessary annual training on BSA and federal regulations, ensuring adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act, CTR, SAR procedures, USA Patriot Act/CIP, Truth in Savings, Reg. D, Reg. E, Privacy & Fair Lending Act, and TCPA.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for the Client Services Associate:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication and member service advisory skills.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication, with the capability to effectively convey information over the phone.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales environment, preferably within the financial sector.
  • Competent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Understanding of Federal Regulations including Reg. CC, Bank Secrecy Act, CTR, SAR procedures, Truth in Savings, Reg. D, Reg. E, Privacy & Fair Lending Act.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with depository and loan products.
