Key Responsibilities

As a Direct Support Professional, you will facilitate daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dining skills, housekeeping skills, social skills, and community access. You will also provide direct support to consumers in training activities, aid in mobility, and assist with meal service. Additionally, you will administer medications and treatments according to company policy, serve as a Primary Person for one or more consumers, and participate in in-service training sessions.

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals with a high school education or equivalent, some previous experience in supporting individuals with disabilities, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record. You must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and have satisfactory completion of criminal background checks as required by federal and/or state laws.
