Job Title: Client Consultant II- Licensed Banker

Flagstar Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Consultant II- Licensed Banker to join our team. As a Client Consultant II- Licensed Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client experience by resolving concerns and providing various product details that focus on meeting the financial needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
  • Client Experience: Provide positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner. Deliver client engagement and education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership.
  • Risk Management: Execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly. Strive for no controllable losses.
Additional Accountabilities:
  • Perform more moderately complex special projects and additional duties as required.
  • Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
  • Demonstrate ability to attain sales and referral goals through preset appointments and quality conversations leading to recommendations that support clients' financial goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
  • Minimum experience required: 4 - 5 years customer service and sales experience, including in the financial services industry.
  • Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
  • Ability to train and mentor others, including products and platform procedures.
  • Life and Health Insurance Licenses (required within the first 90 days in role).
  • FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) (required within 90 days of passing the Life and Health Insurance exam).
  • FINRA License Series 6 (required within 90 days of passing the Security Industry Essentials exam).
  • FINRA License Series 63 or Series 66 (required within 90 days of passing the Series 6 exam).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial services industry preferred.
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
