Overview

MaineHealth is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team in the Acute Psychiatric Care Unit of the Emergency Department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent diagnostic skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues, family, and outpatient providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient psychosocial needs and provide appropriate interventions
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Makes referrals for community services based on treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution
  • Current applicable state license as an LCSW or LMSW-CC
  • Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting
